What exactly do I get when I sign up?
A fully managed BTCPay Server instance running on dedicated infrastructure. That includes a synced Bitcoin full node, Lightning Network node (LND), PostgreSQL database, NBXplorer indexer, and the full BTCPay application — all maintained, monitored, and updated by us. You get a clean dashboard to manage stores, invoices, and apps.
Do I control my own keys?
Absolutely. BTCPay is non-custodial by design. You connect your own wallet (xpub) or hardware wallet. Funds go directly to addresses you control. We never touch your Bitcoin — we just run the infrastructure that processes payments.
Are there really zero transaction fees?
From us, yes — zero. The only fees are Bitcoin network fees (paid to miners) and Lightning routing fees (paid to node operators). These are tiny and inherent to the Bitcoin network. We don't add any percentage or flat fee on top.
Can I use this for a physical store?
Yes. The Point of Sale app works on any device with a browser. Set up your product catalog, hand a tablet to your cashier, and start accepting Bitcoin. Supports tipping, custom amounts, and NFC tap-to-pay.
How does the Lightning Network work here?
We manage an LND node on your behalf with healthy channels and liquidity. Customers pay Lightning invoices instantly (sub-second). You can also access the Ride The Lightning (RTL) dashboard for full node visibility and control.

What about refunds and payouts?
